“Full retirement age” already is set to continue rising in the coming years for people born in 1955 and later; for instance, if you were born in 1960 or later, your full retirement age is 67.
Many families have members who have a special need. There are at least two legal means to supplement the needs of those family members without jeopardizing their qualifications for governmental assistance.
